December's news
Dates for your diaries
On Saturday 10th December, we invite you to join in with our annual Christmassy Day! Blow your own glass baubles with the help of expert glass-blower Emsie Sharp. And Rachel Sargent’s art studio will be open; her unique lino cut prints make lovely Christmas gifts. As always, the cafe will be open from 10am to 4pm for a deliciously warming lunch, as will the shop, full of fabulous festive fancies. Bring friends and family, young and old, for what always proves to be a delightful day.
Then on Saturday 17th December, it is our honour to once again host a community production of The Nativity. The fun will begin around 3.30pm with mince pies and mulled delights, with the show starting at 4pm as the shop and cafe shut up. The cosy show will take place in the farmyard (weather permitting), so wrap up warm and bring a chair if you’d like. This really will be a community occasion, featuring all your favourite friendly faces from around the village. Expect laughs, drama, and a good old sing-a-long. Free entry.
