Gold Hill Organic Farm in Dorset seeks season worker or Soil Association Future Grower from April to October 2017, with possibility to extend. Forty hours a week, minimum wage, with onsite accommodation in shepherd's hut, plus bills and half board. Gold Hill Organic Farm is a busy 60 acre ex-dairy farm owned by Andrew and Sara Cross who have been growing a wide variety of vegetables organically since 1987. Employment will include planting, picking, packing and weeding, some propagation, a little tractor work, and some shop work. Applicants are welcome to enrol on the Soil Association's Future Growers scheme. Please see www.soilassociation.org/futuregrowers for more information. Applicants must have some experience of working or volunteering on a horticultural farm. Closing date 31st January. Site visits are welcomed; interviews to be held in February, date to be confirmed. To apply, please send a covering letter and CV to Sara Cross at goldhillorganicfarm@gmail.com.
